Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

We are all aware of the harm that toxic waste sites cause to the surrounding population, the land, the water, and the air. That’s how negative emotions are. It is impossible to suppress feelings of hurt, betrayal, rejection, and rage inside of you and hope that it won’t taint or poison you. Negative emotions that are bottled up never go away; instead, they always seep out and return. That poison will eventually taint not only your vision, goals, and attitude, but also the relationships you have with the people in your life. It will sap your happiness, tranquility, and inventiveness.

You can eliminate that poisonous waste from your body, which is wonderful news. Don’t hold your wrath, guilt, or bitterness inside. Give it up. You must entrust what happened to you to God, forgive the other person, and let go of the incident. Although what they did wasn’t right, you’re willing to forgive them in order to be free. So that you may see beauty through the ashes, you’re letting it go. You have some free time now.
