SCRIPTURE: But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat…Daniel 1:8

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Where your character stops, there your destiny ends.

Message – Seeds Of Destiny For Today, 19th November 2023:

It has been established that one’s character plays a crucial role in determining their destiny. A person’s character not only determines their earthly outcomes but also their eternal fate. The influence of character on destiny can either be supportive or obstructive.

Several years ago, I came across an intriguing study about foxes. As mentioned in Scripture, Samson captured three hundred foxes and set their tails on fire, sending them into the standing corns of the Philistines to ignite a fire.

This incident piqued my curiosity, leading me to question, “Why did Samson choose foxes?”

Upon further investigation, I discovered that foxes belong to the dog family. Within this family, there are various species such as domestic dogs, bears, wolves, jackals, dingoes, and others. However, Samson specifically selected foxes for this task.

Through my research, I found that foxes possess a remarkable level of integrity compared to other dog species. They exhibit behavior similar to that of eagles.

This implies that if one is entrusted with a task for the kingdom or aims to rise from a lowly position to a prominent one, they must possess unwavering character and integrity. The absence of character is the root cause of destiny’s downfall. Where one’s character falters, their destiny comes to an end. Regardless of the potential one may possess, lacking character equates to lacking destiny.

Remember this: Where your character stops, there your destiny ends.

By all means, refuse to limit your destiny by iniquity.
Ask God for the grace and discipline to live upright.
