Here’s Why You Should Be Asking Relevant Questions A Lot

And hearing the multitude pass by, he asked what it meant.

And they told him that Jesus of Nazareth passeth by.

– Lk 19:36-37.

In the above passage, is the story of the blind beggar who begged Jesus to be healed of his blindness.

Now the bible said, he heard the sound of the multitude pass by.

Being a blind man as he was, he certainly could not see the people. But sitting by the road side, this also meant that this is certainly not the first time that people would be passing by that road. But on this rare occasion, he noticed something unusual and refused to be calm about it.

His decision to ask questions about the reason for the usual number of people passing through the footpath on this fateful day culminated in his healing.

Hear me! You are someone who may have been chided for long for asking too many questions but I tell you don’t give up asking relevant questions because in so doing, you learn.

The world would’ve been a very static sphere without knowledge dissemination and circulation if nobody cared to ask pertinent questions.

For instance, how would people know what you need to know or simply put, how would anybody know what you don’t know in order to teach you, if you don’t ask?

How will content creators create content for the web if people are not asking on search engines?

One of the ways to learn new things and grow, is through the imbibing of an inquisitive mindset.

Geniuses are usually very inquisitive beings. They seek to know the answers to virtually everything – why is the earth round? How does the moon revolve around the sun? How was the earth created? How did human beings come into existence?

All these are some of the few questions that a genius may be asking in his or her mind. His desires to find answers to this bordering questions are what bring to birth, research and inventions.

The bible says that when Jesus’ parents had searched for him, after three days, they found Him in the temple learning from the doctors and scholars and asking them questions and all who heard Him was amazed at His level of insight and wisdom.

Some people today would rather die in silence rather than ask questions simply because they do not want to be perceived as being ignorant about a certain subject matter or area.

Hence, they are neither contributing nor asking.

I have always been inquisitive about many things and that has helped to broaden my horizon about very many subject areas.

I learn from many sources and ask questions where necessary.

Hear me! If you have a pressing question that you needed to ask, forget about the chidders and just ask anyways.

If you were to travel to an unknown destination, which environs you have no knowledge of the navigationary pathways, would you not ask the way to so, so, so and so that you needed to locate?

If you don’t you’d make no headway right?

So it is in life. There are people who would always know better than others in certain subject areas due to experience. Your asking questions about that domain doesn’t make you a less learned person afterall but only in that domain or the particular subject area in discourse.

People who ask pertinent questions are able to gather varying ideas and opinions on issues and hence are able to make insightful judgements and decisions on issues.
