Today’s Word

In the book of John, chapter 21, Peter and a few other disciples had spent the entire night fishing without any success. However, the following morning, they failed to recognize Jesus on the shore when He called out to them, instructing them to cast their net on the right side of the boat. When they followed His guidance, they caught an overwhelming amount of fish that they couldn’t even bring in the net. It was at this moment that Peter realized it was Jesus, and as he reached the shore, he found Jesus grilling fish. What Peter couldn’t accomplish throughout the night, he not only obtained a boatload of fish, but Jesus had already prepared breakfast for him.

When everything seems to be going wrong and you’re tempted to question where God is, let me assure you that He is preparing your blessings. If you continue to do what is right, God will not only provide you with an abundance, but He will also present you with blessings that have already been prepared. Can you smell the aroma of the freshly grilled fish? Promotion, the right connections, success in your endeavors, and even healing are on their way to you. You are about to witness the incredible things that God has in store for you.

“Father, I thank You for being the God of abundance and for going above and beyond by preparing breakfast for us. I am grateful for Your promise that as I continue to do what is right, blessings are on their way, pursuing me and overtaking me. I firmly believe that I am about to receive blessings that have already been prepared for me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
